1. Data controller

The controller of personal data processed through this website is Ahmed Abdelgaber. Contact: ahmedabdelgabera@gmail.com.

2. Data collected

When you use the contact form, this website may process your first and last name, email address, subject, message, and technical or interaction information required to protect the form from abuse. Fluent Forms IP logging is disabled. hCaptcha and the hosting or security infrastructure may still process network and browser information needed to provide security. Please do not submit sensitive personal data through the form.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Data is processed to answer enquiries and take requested pre-contractual steps under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; manage legitimate professional correspondence and protect the website against misuse under Article 6(1)(f); and comply with legal obligations under Article 6(1)(c).

4. Contact form

The contact form is provided through Fluent Forms. Submissions are stored in the website’s WordPress database and forwarded by email to the controller. They are used only to review and respond to enquiries and for related record-keeping or security purposes.

5. hCaptcha

The contact form uses hCaptcha, provided by Intuition Machines, Inc., to distinguish legitimate submissions from automated abuse. hCaptcha may process technical and interaction data required for fraud prevention and security. See hCaptcha Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. The legal basis is the controller’s legitimate interest in protecting the website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

6. Analytics and advertising

The website does not currently load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or comparable behavioural advertising trackers. If such technologies are introduced, this notice and any required consent mechanism will be updated before they are enabled.

7. External links

The website links to external services including LinkedIn, Facebook, and X. Following those links takes you to third-party websites governed by their own privacy terms. Their tracking widgets are not embedded on the homepage at the date of this notice.

8. Service providers and international transfers

WordPress and service providers supporting hosting, security, forms, and email may process limited data where necessary to provide and protect these services. Data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers rely on an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses, or another Chapter V GDPR safeguard.

9. Retention

Routine contact-form submissions are normally retained for up to 12 months after the last relevant correspondence, unless longer retention is required for an ongoing professional relationship, a legal obligation, or a dispute. Data no longer required is deleted or anonymised.

10. Recipients

Personal data is not sold. It may be disclosed only to relevant service providers, professional advisers where reasonably necessary, or public authorities where required by law.

11. Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability, and may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email requests to ahmedabdelgabera@gmail.com. You may also complain to the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

12. Security

Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

13. Changes

This notice may be updated when the website’s services or data-processing practices change. The current version and revision date will appear on this page.
